The above postcard from 1900 is one of a collection illustrating what it was thought life might be like come the year 2000, taken from the website Paleo-Future, which is devoted to looking at past-made predictions for the future, often laughably wrong ones, from the 1890s onwards. The archives (scroll down to 'Browse By Decade') are well worth a gander.
